Hardee County Venue/Facility Rentals

  •  Civic Center 

Refundable Deposit $500.00 

2hrs. $300 

Up to 6 Hrs. $900 

Up to 12 hrs. $1200.00 

Payment must be completed at least 15 days before the event. If payment is not received in this time frame the event will be cancelled. 

You will be responsible for setting up your tables and chairs. Rate of $50 an hour for any additional hours of Set Up or Clean Up. The County will supply the tables and chairs only along with the usage of the kitchen. The following are available: 34- 60-inch round tables 60- 8 ft rectangular tables and 1000 chairs; 8 chairs fit at each table.  

NOTE: “NO ALCOHOL BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES” 

An application for special premises of alcohol can be filled out. Application must be approved at least 30 days before the event.

  • Ag Training Center 

 A refundable security deposit of $150.00  

 Rental for the Training Center is $250 + tax  

The following are available: 10 rectangular tables and 90 chairs; You will be responsible for setting up and taking down your tables and chairs.

  • Pioneer Park 

Rental Fees: In Addition to the cost of rental building, a refundable security deposit of $150.00 is required for the pool pavilion and Family Reunion Building. With a refundable security deposit of $ 250.00 for the Nickerson Ullrich Building. All payments must be made 2 weeks before the event. 

  • Pavilion Building: $250 + Tax 12 Tables & 72 Chairs 
  • Nickerson Ullrich Building: $450 + Tax 40 Tables & 200 Chairs 
  • Grainge Building $300 + Tax 12 Tables & 100 chairs 
  • Picnic Shelters $50 + Tax (Reserved) Free for Non-Reserved 

Events with 150 or more people must have security by the Hardee County Sherriff’s Office

  • Hardee Lakes 

  • Mosaic Building  

Refundable Deposit $ 200 

$250 plus tax for 4 hours morning 7am -11:30am, or 12 to 5:30pm, no mid-day option on the hours 

$500.00 plus tax for a full day 7am -11pm (gates lock at 11pm) this includes set up and take down time. If more time is required add an additional half day or full day retail. All Events and Music must be shut down by 10pm 

  • Picnic Facilities: First come, first serve but maybe reserved $ 50.00 a day plus tax  
  • Boardwalk Pavillion $75.00 plus tax

Alcohol must be pre-approved 30 days prior to the event 

An application for special premises of alcohol can be filled out. Application must be approved at least 30 days before the event. Any Event with Alcohol must have security. 

 

Security Requirements for all Venues 

1-99 guest with Alcohol: 1 deputy 

100-200 guests: 2 deputies 

201-300 guests: 3 Deputies 

Security/ Crowd Control is not required for events with less than 200 people not having alcohol. 

* Event Type may require special insurance 

 

Hardee County Sherriff Office Security Rates 

 Regular rate: $50 an hour / Short notice under 24 hours: $65 hour 

 Events involving Alcohol: Less than one hundred people it is $65.00 an hour. 

 If the Deputy counts more than 100 people at an alcohol event, the Deputy will summon another Deputy at $80 an hour. Plus, the first Deputies at $65 will increase to $80 an hour retractive to the time the deputy started. 

When clients are unsure how many people are attending the event serving alcohol, we will suggest that it would be an idea to hire two Deputies at $65 an hour to avoid any complications. 

 

  Hardee County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to cancel any rental due to emergency usage needs of a county owned facility or any other necessary reason to meet the needs of our community.
